“I love the watercolor painting”… Kishore Pratim Biswas

Kishore says…” Watercolor was my favorite medium in my early days of life. I did a lot of watercolor painting on the CITY OF JOY KOLKATA. Everyday I went for outdoor painting specially steam locomotives”.
The upcoming exhibition of Kishore Pratim Biswas in Mumbai on 18th April 2023 offers a fresh and dynamic look at his ideas and expressions of beauty. A devoted and dedicated artist, Kishore Pratim opens this series Freedom of Beauty as his labor of love. An exploration of female beauty in the most abstract pattern offers a colorful insight to the visitors. His works are relinquishable, dreamlike offering the images of birth of beauty in the female body.
As a fascinating process, the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly is a major draw for these beautiful winged animals. Their metamorphosis might be seen as a symbol of rebirth, but the full depth of their spiritual significance varies greatly depending on the individual. Famous artist Kishore Pratim Biswas uses butterflies as symbols of independence, creating paintings that are both beautiful and dynamic.
“What I remember the last time I went to sketch the steam locomotives at Bandel Locomotives Workshop (West Bengal, India) in 1992. The day was very sad, to hear that the steam locomotives were obsoleted in India. Those were disassembled and dispatched to go to the museum for scrap. After that, I didn’t do any live sketches of the steam locomotives in my SCRIBBLE BOOK”… That scribbled book is only the source, where the old collections of 70’s Indian steam locomotives
