Kishore says…” Watercolor was my favorite medium in my early days of life. I did a lot of watercolor painting on the CITY OF JOY KOLKATA. Everyday I went for outdoor painting specially steam locomotives”.
Kishore used to go to the public place to do the painting…in places like; Esplanade tram depot, Chowringhee, Part Street, New Market, and obviously my favorite place ULTALDANGA Steam Locomotive Workshop.
In the 80’s He did a series of watercolor paintings on Indian Steam Locomotives. But unfortunately, it was not exhibited… Finally, it was displayed 2014 in Mumbai…
Primarily Kishore started painting in the watercolor medium. Gradually, he switched to Acrylic on canvas. He is also an expert in acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, charcoal, and soft pastels.
Still, Kishore says…”I love watercolor… I will do a series of watercolor paintings on Kolkata and Mumbai in the future”…
